Ya wanna know somethin' strange? Someone on a mailing list that I'm subscribed to actually told me that they have had the same thing happen, and they said it's actually JAWS that makes Kontakt and other plugins sometimes crash. So their solution is to unload JAWS from memory when opening the project, then reload it again. That sounds like a pain in the padded rear! However, I'm wondering how a screenreader like JAWS can make VST plugins crash at random moments.

Computers are magical and mysterious machines.
I hope it works for you!

Magical and mysterious? Like how?

Meaning they can do things I want them to do, do things I don't want them to do, and I don't know how or why either way. Smiley face.

I don't know how JAWS works; is it running at all times on your machine?

To unload it from memory, I think you just close it normally and then open the Task Manager to ensure that it is off.

I understand that there may be problems for you doing that. I think you're pretty smart, though, and can figure it out.

I only know how to do it with the cursor.

Yes I have JAWS running at all times, as it's important to have a screenreader on when you can't see.

Of course, and with JAWS off, you wouldn't be able to read the task manager. A conundrum, for sure.
Someone would have to help.
