roll back updates

Just curious as to how to roll back updates.  I installed the latest update, but I've read where several people have issues with it.  So if I decide to get rid of the latest update, how do I do it?

You cannot, because of this:  (from the Updated to 29.09.0.120 release notes.)

Note: All users should upgrade to this build as prior builds do not support the new back end that is used for activation.

The way I interpret it, for CbB to continue to be activatable, this new update is necessary.

I would not chance it.

Cakewalk by Bandlab is crashing now.

I just updated the software and now it crashes every time I open Cakewalk.

What is going on!!!!!!

I used CbB to open a few projects containing some VSTi and plugin I did a while ago in CbB.

I also used CbB to open up an “in progress” project that I am doing in Sonar 2024

No crashes.  They all opened and played back fine from start to finish.  This is on a PC configured as per signature.

I am wondering if the crashes you are experiencing is due to either a plugin or a driver.

I am assuming you have opened any crashing projects in SAFE mode to see if it's a plugin, sent any crash dumps to Cakewalk Support.

Yep. There’s about 4 or 5 threads about this and they all have the solution please read the forum posts . You will need to install a Reddit update.
