maxsoren
I'm having so many issues with Cakewalk by Bandlab and it's getting to the point I'd rather pay someone to get on zoom and walk me through some stuff. When I first downloaded the software, everything went smoothly. Yesterday, I downloaded the update. I also used an audio interface for the first time (Focusrite 2i2). Now, all of my files are missing. I can bring them up through file explorer but not directly through cakewalk. I've checked the paths, they are identical. Exporting no longer works due to buffering size whereas it did before, no issue. Sound no longer plays through computer speakers. I've checked the output settings, seems fine. There's just a whole host of issues. Anyone ever hire a tutor or someone to walk them through these issues?

Now that you are using a Focusrite 2i2, have you set your driver mode to ASIO. This is in Preferences - Audio - Playback and Recording Note: I do not do Zoom. JonD
Likely, there's something in your settings that's incorrect. There are tons of tutorial videos aimed at beginners on YouTube, but It may take you awhile to trawl through each one until you find the instruction that addresses your problem. There are suggestions for additional support right here in this forum: https://discuss.cakewalk.com/topic/19619-looking-for-additional-support/ If it were me, I'd go with Jim Roseberry at Purrrfect Audio. He's been a regular here for years, and offers consultations/tech support: https://www.studiocat.com/products/copy-of-consultation
Nigel Mackay
And when you have free time go to YouTube and watch Creative Sauce videos about Cakewalk. Never mind their age.
Pathfinder
The update you refer to would NOT change any of the things you mentioned. It seems you understand it is user error....That's not a dig, just a fact. So many great youtube videos that are just like having your own personal tutor You also don't mention what OS you are using? Win10? Edited December 3 by Pathfinder
