Text Colours

Hi,

in the past I used the colour of the track TEXT to differ between Audio-Track (Orange), Plugin-Audio-Track (blue) and Midi-Track (white).

With the new Sonar I am no longer able to change the color of the Track Text :o(

Question:

A) Is there an other way to change the color of the TEXT?

B) Or alternatively  is there a way to change the colour of the little icon of the Track-Type?  I mean the little Icon directly left from the Track Name and NOT the Track symbol?

Thanks

In short, no. They deleted those abilities in the new Sonar. Sorry.

You might have to switch to changing the background or foreground colors of the clips.

You're not alone.

Let's hope the bakers restore at least the ability to change colours.

I can understand doing away with custom bitmap elements with Sonar being vector based, but custom colours should have been retained (IMHO).

I agree. There have been people requesting it from the start of NuSonar.

If there is resistance from TPTB, I don't understand why. Did it cause some kind of trouble back when CbB allowed us to not only set custom colors using theming, the custom colors in Preferences also worked on a lot of elements.

The only side effect for me was that I could read everything better once I got a set of colors dialed in. I never hurt anyone with it.
