Solo Command Issue with Remote Control

I attempted to use the Group method with Remote Control for soloing different tracks and I found that:

Remote Control does not work with the 'Solo' command. Although the Solo icon visibly turns on or off when the Remote Control Message is sent, there is no audible change in the sound.

Yes, I can confirm this is a longstanding issue. I believe I've reported it myself in the past.
