Claus Tersgov
Hello I have an Behringer 1920 asio interface, and that works fine. Then I have a yamaha psr 473 that has an inbuilt soundcard. I have installed the steinberg asio driver, but in cakewalk I cannot use it. In preference "in and out" the steinberg interface is grayed out so I can not click it. And under drivers there is only asio.. How can I activate the steinberg 1+2 in/out so I can record sound from my yamaha arranger? Claus
Ross Smithe
The ASIO driver mode only allows for one device to be connected at a time. You need to uncheck the Behringer in Preferences, and then you can use the Yamaha/Steinberg drivers. I have a Yamaha MOXF8 that also has the Steinberg drivers. I don't use those drivers, I just record the onboard sounds through my Focusrite 4i4, using USB midi, along with L/R audio cables. parboo12
Have you tried unchecking all the UMC inputs & outputs first? Maybe then the Yamaha drivers would be un greyed.
