bitflipper
This is a really good delay. Anyone remember all the flak Boz got when he debuted it at 200 bucks? Yeh, he'd gotten some bad advice back then, and yes, it was not price-competitive and didn't sell well. Which overshadowed the fact that it really is a very good delay plugin (I love it on vocals in particular). I'd advise anyone to grab it for 9 stinkin' bucks!
TheSteven
There was (is?) a video showing how to set up BID for vocal textures such as doubling - can't find it now. But the following made me smile and it is informative. Edited Tuesday at 11:45 PM by TheSteven
Brian Walton
Got to imagine the v2 is in the works for an update. As someone used to guitar/pedal delays I always felt that despite all the features it never got me exactly what I wanted. Worth the ~$10 though and hope v2 has a good update when it inevitably drops
mibby
It's also available direct on Boz's site: https://www.bozdigitallabs.com/product/imperial-delay/ @Brian Walton Just curious because these things are so subjective, what is your favorite delay? Authority Echorec. It is CPU hungry though.
mibby
I think you got spell checked. 😁 I really like the Auditority stuff too. Don't have that one though. I do have Pulsar's which is awesome. 👍

Pulsars is good too but I'll take the no limit authorization system on computers you personally own over ilok every time at a similar price point.
Michael Docy
Now on the Boz web page they have: buy one get one 1/2 off. So I just got Imperial Delay and Manic Compressor. 15 US dollars for both using the 50% off deal. 3

I did the same in the last few days as well. $15 is a bargain for them.
Xoo
I bought Imperial Delay when it was last on sale (more than this though!), as I really liked it when I demo'd it, but I never actually use it - it doesn't seem to work as well in the paid-for version (psychological I'm sure).
