ok maybe "hacked" means something different to some people, but it was officially declared some time ago in these very forums, more than just a host check

It is not unusual for DAW providers to lock a feature to their software. Steinberg, Studio One even mixcraft lock certain of their supplied instruments and FX to their product. All the Pro channel modules are VST 2 plugins, they don't appear in the VST directory, which limits their availability to other programs. Their names are not specifically the name of the module, however the calling program knows. Simples.

@Wookiee btw, why not delete all those spam posts?

The spam is being dealt with as soon as one of us sees it.

A request for additional keywords to be added has been made and a possible more permanent solution.

Are you saying you can still see them even the hidden ones?

Possibly the fact that they are called to load in the Pro Channel, it could like the FX Chain module, there is a basic PC canister which loads additional code that is module specific, but at their heart they are simply VST 2's.

eta, are you just hiding them and not deleting them?

Flagging a user as a spammer automatically hides their posts, as all Mod's can see hidden posts it is impossible to know if they are visible to users. What colour are these spam posts you claim to be able to see?

have 2 accounts, your admin/mod one, plus a regular user one (simples)

You obviously haven't read the rules, having two accounts is a breach of the rules and earns an immediate ban when discovered.

You didn't answer the question, please don't quote the spam, you become no better than them, report it then it can be dealt with.

i didn't quote the spam for exactly that reason, i shared screenshots to help you out, as you clearly hadn't noticed the actual spam

Subject to the same rules.

ffs

eta, any company people running a user environment has multiple accounts for exactly this reason, as a mod you don;t see the same stuff as a regular user, so you have a "test" account where you can see what a regular user sees, it's not rocket science

I wasn't asking.

The way you put it could lead anyone to a different conclusion. If you didn’t mean to confuse people, a little more precision would help.

No you drew the conclusion no one else. I also feel that the majority of users are intelligent enough to understand that, though there is always going to be one.

It wasn’t a conclusion; it was a clarification because the original info wasn’t clear.

How would they even know if they'd not used Sonar?
