Gary Edelman
I haven't used my CW BandLab program for a few months & it switched to Demo version but I can't find a way to activate it. It used to be if i just logged in to the assistant that would take care of it but it doesn't happen now. If I click on the Bandlab assistant, it shows my name & email so it looks like I'm already logged in but i can't get out of demo mode. One of the reasons I have not used the program much through the years is for fear of this very problem. I also tried rebooting but that didn't help. Any ideas? OutrageProductions
With CbB open go to <Help> <Log into Bandlab>. The "assistant" was deprecated about a year ago. Edited November 3 by OutrageProductions
Gary Edelman
Maybe my version 2018.09 (Build 29, 64bit) of CW BandLab is outdated because there is no option under HELP to log into Bandlab. All I get is a pop up that tells me to activate via BandLab Assistant. Also if I go to https://www.bandlab.com it will show my name so I think I am already logged in. Is there a way to update CW BandLab without deleting anything?

I will try to get a link to the post with the latest version of CbB.** BTW, I just logged out of CbB and logged back in as per @OutrageProductions advice and I successfully logged back in via the built-in "Sign in to Bandlab" link under Help. **UPDATE: Not sure if you have the Cakewalk Product Center. If so, that might be the best way to try updating. ***CLARIFICATION: The Cakewalk Product Center verifies that I am "Up-to-date" with the latest version 2024.09 build 108. Not sure why mine says 2024.07. I will sort that out for my own PC. Regardless, build 108 looks like the latest version of CbB available to us. I've been using Cakewalk since it came on a 5 1/4" floppy disk & recording audio on a computer was just considered a dream. It has too good many memories to lose.
Gary Edelman
Well I tried the link you posted to the Cakewalk Product Center & that did the trick as far as letting me out of Demo mode so i can save my work. It let me install the newer version & ended up with version 2024.07 build 108. I'm having some problem with audio drop outs now that I didn't have before but I'll deal with that later. I'm wondering if I shouldn't just install everything in the CW Prodcut Center & see if that makes the system any more stable. Thanks again for the help.
