Brian Walton
I wonder what the Expression Pedal input will be able to control here. Having a full blown midi controller is going to make this unbelievable, but that is also a pretty big investment in both cost and figuring out how it works. Being able to turn on and off effects with a simple expression pedal input would have a lot of value in a potentially small space. And if it could use all 3 buttons on say a FS300, that would be mind blowing.
Last Call
How on earth do you browse 35000 captures!??!?!? That is so crazy. I finally got it to work on my MAC and judging by the preview alone... there is no contest Tonex wins (although I would like to get my hands on the new Nano Cortex). (EDIT: Seems captures are where it's at!) Edited October 3 by Last Call

RSMcGuitar
That new spring reverb sounds way more like what I'm after. Nice. I feel like, so far, IK has done an amazing job with ToneX, including the rollout. It definitely felt somewhat unfinished on first release, but the sounds were there. They've done a great job fine-tuning it and it's very nice these have been free updates!

Yep, every time the "IKM hate" starts up I have to point out to others that TONEX is literally one of the best music products to hit the market in at least 10 years. It isn't perfect but it is a wonderful product that has made great tone available/attainable to just about anyone not in a 3rd world country.

Thanks for finally coming out with the date. Giving it to all the influencers (many of which have created less captures than non influencers) and teasing it for over a month has been annoying. Look forward to it Also please talk to the dev team to make the trs jack compatible with the DigiTech 3 button fs3x configuration to allow bank up/down and tap tempo. Prior to the update it can't even handle the bank up and down of that common switch type Edited November 7 by Brian Walton
BTP
What’s new in version 1.8.0: Improved DSP chain with new effects and flexible routing New Modulation block includes 5 stereo-to-stereo BPM-syncable modulation FXs: Chorus, Tremolo, Phaser, Flanger, Rotary. New Delay block includes 2 stereo-to-stereo BPM-syncable delay algorithms (Digital and Tape) and 2 modes (Normal and Ping Pong). New Spring 4 algorithm added to the Reverb block. Revamped Noise Gate: now it allows for a faster release and more flexibility. Its action can be moved post-amp. Each FX has its own parameters and settings are retained when changing FX. BPM sync working on a global or preset basis. TONEX Pedal firmware 1.5.11 Added support for the new DSP chain. Delay and Modulation FX parameters are accessible from the PARAMETER knob sub-menu. Global Setup and Parameter menus navigation improved. Added Tap Tempo feature accessible from within the Tuner mode. Added BPM Setup sub-menu to the SETUP menu. Added MIDI sub-menu to the GLOBAL SETUP menu. TONEX ONE firmware 1.2.6 Added support for the new DSP chain. Added Tap Tempo feature accessible from within the Tuner mode. New Tone Model Advanced Search feature in local library. Fixed a crash in Logic when loading the plugin in a multi-mono track. General reliability improvements. TheSteven
Great news but… I’m going to wait till after this weekend to do the firmware update and let the 1st wave of adopters validate that it’s stable. Also I dont need a firmware update to crash in the middle because of bandwidth issues due their website getting swamped. Also I dont need a firmware update to crash in the middle because of bandwidth issues due their website getting swamped. Firmware would be downloaded completely and then updated locally. For best stability you might want to pay most attention to having a stable USB connection, without hubs with a million things plugged in, don't have multiple TONEX devices plugged in, and such. 4

kitekrazy1
For all of the IK bashing elsewhere it's nice to see developers actually upgrading their products. 90% of the time other developers are upgrading their distribution apps.
