Vernon Barnes
Is anyone else having issues with the latest Analog Lab pro update version. 5.10.5.5098. On running in stand alone for the first time after the update the GIU is scaled up to the maximum extent. Not a show stopper. In Standalone I cant get anything to sound with the same settings as before the update. Sonar's VST scan hangs on Analog Lab but it dose launch with the huge GIU, again no sound is produced. Other Arturia synths work correctly. Studio One won't even launch the plugin. Cubase VST scan fails when scanning Analog Lab and its added to the block list. Promidi
I am not having the issue you are having. However, I am having another issue. Not a show stopper, but annoying none the less. When I start some other Arturia synths , it starts two instances of "ArturiaSoftwareCenterAgent.exe". Then one disappears. While there are the two instances of "ArturiaSoftwareCenterAgent.exe" running, the synth that I started shows the login dialogue. Once one of the instances of "ArturiaSoftwareCenterAgent.exe" closes, the temporarily login dialogue closes and I can use the synth as normal. Sometimes I then get a event in the Event logs (a 0000005 error, which is a generic, something went wrong error message) One thing you might want to try is use the Arturia Software Center to deactivate, then reactivate all your Arturia plugins.... done in preferences > Licences, (top right). Vernon Barnes
I am waiting for a response from Arturia support. In the meantime I found an old installer for version 5.10.2.4741 on my system so I uninstalled 5.10.5.5098 and manually installed the older version. Everything seems to be working OK now so it seems the issue with the new version. As Promidi does not have the issue it could be system specific.
Wookiee
No issues here, either standalone or in my DAW.

Vernon Barnes
Arturia got back to me with a couple of things to try including a more thorough uninstall / reinstall than I had tried previously. This was unsucessful. So I am back to using the older version as a temporary workaround.
Promidi
Arturia released an update of Arturia Sound Centre. (now at 2.8.1.2731) Since updating to this version, deactivating and reactivating all my licences, I no longer have the log on screen temporarily appearing when I open an Arturia softsynth. I have 2.8.1.2731. Mine still does the login and synchronization, but I did not deactivate and reactivate my licenses. Is there any reason why I should (or should not) do that (deactivate/reactivate)? (Mine is dated 13 Sept. 2024.)

(Mine is dated 13 Sept. 2024.) When the login and synchronisation issue first occurred, I opened a support ticket with Arturia. After a few days, I got a reply from Arturia (prior to the release of the updated ASC), and I was advised to do the license deactivate and reactivate cycle. After doing this, I thought the problem resolved itself. However after a while the issue returned. I did some of my own investigation. I found that, when I started an Arturia Standalone synth with Task Manager open, I noticed that two instances of the ArturiaSoftwareCenterAgent.exe process started, then one stopped leaving one remaining. Then an event appeared in the Windows Application logs with a C000005 error (Which is basically a Windows, something bad happened, not sure what). I thought, this must be an issue with the then version of Arturia's ASC which they will resolve soon. Now, after updating to ASC 2.8.1.2731, I too still got the login and synchronisation when starting any Arturia synth. I thought, bugger, they didn't fix it. But then I thought, I wonder what happens if I repeat the license deactivate and reactivate cycle with this new version of ASC. This appears to have solved the issue. No login and synchronisation issue when atarting an Arturia synth. Only one ArturiaSoftwareCenterAgent.exe starts and then closes. No remaining process. Arturia synth fully usable (not in Demo Mode). So what must happen now, when you start an Arturia synth, is that one instance of ArturiaSoftwareCenterAgent.exe starts, confirms licence status, and then closes. On my PC this happens quickly. So, yeah, try the deactivate/reactivate cycle.
Vernon Barnes
Just an update on this issue. Arturia support have been working and sending troubleshooting steps, all of which did not solve the issue. Today they escalated the issue to the next level of support. I started working through the next steps they suggested. I re-installed 5.10.6.5147 for the umpteenth time and miraculously the problem disappeared.

My Arturia stuff has gone back to briefly showing the login screen when I start one of their synths. This looks like an issue with the ASC. Arturia are going to have to fix this. I have flicked an email off to Arturia support.
