Grem
https://www.waves.com/plugins/curves-equato Curves Equator is a smarter resonance suppression plugin. It immediately improves any full mix, vocal, instrument or sample by removing problematic frequencies, fixing resonances and balancing inconsistencies. Additionally, it can learn your content & safeguard your work with a personalized suppression curve to avoid overprocessing. It offers groundbreaking frequency unmasking by learning the sidechain of a clashing source and dynamically applying the inverse curve on the part you’re mixing. Equator is the first in our new Curves Spectral Series of plugins, which pioneers the evolution of EQ. Two more Curves plugins will be available in early 2025: Welcome to your first self-driving EQs! >>>>>>> I tried this EQ on a few guitars and found it really useful. They may be on to something. 3
reginaldStjohn
Seems similar to others like Hornet sleek, Soothe, Melda SpectralDynamics etc.
Grem
Never tried Hornet Seek. Haven't worked much with Melda's either. But I did find this Curve EQ UI to be extremely easy to use and figure out. Got great result really quick and easy.

That would be me. At first I was a bit suspicious of AI infused plugins, but now that I've started using them I see that in nearly every case they're smarter than I am. I'll be very interested to see where it goes over the coming years.
bats brew
well, maybe ai drives the frequency build, but any decisions are left up to you. no AI involved in that. you have to make mix decisions. it's all you.

After the Waves subscription fiasco I swore I was done with them, but after hearing this I'm going to at least give Equator a test drive. Thanks for the link.
