It's a similar format WS2. On a quick preview there are some nice sounds that supplement rather than replace the earlier version.

From what I can tell it is a couple GB smaller than World Suite 2, so they must have replaced a lot of stuff in this upgrade. WS2 was about 38GB on disk, and WS3 is 34.7GB. It could be a better compression algorithm though.

I don't have either but

3 has 99,281 samples, 430 instruments and 12,229 loops & phrases.

2 has 66,460 samples, 369 instruments and 10,584 loops & phrases.

Apparently both use FLAC lossless encoding. Maybe they just used a better compression level. Or shorter samples.
