I can't  seem to get this to work. Is there step by step. I have a feeling I"m not selecting the "source track" right. But I drag a region, I select the track I want to align (backups), add region FX... I see the little VocalSync dial pop up then disappear. There's some processing in the selected track, but it never shows the track split.

Any help is appreciated

Figured it out - sorry... it was the setting Guide Track that I missed.

Just an FYI...if it misbehaves, try using smaller clips for synching.

Maybe this is why I was never able to get Vocal Sync to work properly, I always ended up going the old fashioned route of cutting and dragging to line up vocals.  I'll try using it again with smaller clips, thanks for the tip!

Even if it's not 100% effective, smaller clips work much better - so then you only have to clean up some of it manually.

Moved to V-Vocal thread. The comment about reducing the size of the region to stop Vocal Sync from crashing got me thinking about V-Vocal crashes.
