dragos
Installed Dorico 5 because Finale is going away. When I open Cakewalk by Band Lab it gets stuck in the VST scan. A small window on the screen flashes Generic Low Latency ASIO. Cakewalk is unresponsive and has to be shutdown with task manager. I have been using a UR44C for years using the Yamaha Steinberg Driver Can I reinstall CbB to fix this?
dragos
Is there a preferences file anywhere that I can edit to stop it from looking for or loading ASIO Drivers?
dragos
Re-install failed to fix it. It seems like there is something about the ASIO that does not agree with CbB. Sonar Platinum still works. I've noticed the same sort of issues with the ARIA Player from makemusic, it is part of the Finale software that is going away. That problem was bandaged by using Voice meeter Banana as an intermediary between ARIA Player and Yamaha Steinberg Driver. CbB just hangs. I cannot edit any preferences.
