ADDAC System has announced the latest module in its growing family of expressive controls for Eurorack. Similar to other modules in its 300 series of expressive controllers (including the ADDAC303 Muscle Sensing, ADDAC308 Light to CV, and others), the ADDAC310 Pressure to CV offers a new means of controlling the nuances of sonic expression.

The ADDAC310 follows the heritage of traditional wind and breath controllers with one major difference: the pipe contains no means for the air to escape, creating an abundance of pressure inside the tube – which is controlled by the user’s mouth. For seasoned woodwind or brass musicians, this working principle may sound unorthodox – but using this approach, the pressure can be controlled for longer periods without the need to draw a new breath or learning circular breathing techniques
