Got excited when I saw this in a Facebook add - until I went to the website and saw it needed a USB dongle

? Probably worth a look for those of you who have one already

The e-licenser key (used by Steinberg etc) apparently works OK with this.

I'll give it a try and post back with my results.

another tip - if you have more than one key - you can get more than one free licence

 I purchased an e-licenser key awhile back when I was going to move to Cubase Pro 9. I didn't go Cubase ( didn't have patience to learn a new daw), so the key sat in my computer. Great, now I have a nice freebie to put it to use.

Thanks all - I appear to have elicenser on my PC from when I obtained a free Halion Sonic Glockenspeil which I never managed to get working so I'd forgotten about it!) - it is now out of date apparently so I will update and see if it works!

It should work, I had to update mine. The software loaded and is activated. Great!

Mmm - the elicenser is asking for a USB key when I try to register VSL Big Bang so no luck. I haven't bought anything associated with this elicenser so is that the problem - ie the elicencer has only been used to try to get Halion SE to work (unsuccesfully)

VSL have responded to my FB post saying I do need the USB so not sure how you guys have got it working ?

Got mine working.  There were a string of errors initially as my eLicencer manager software was way out of date. I have been using the dongle for years for XILs labs and added Cubase last year but I don't think I ever updated the software. Once I did the update it was straightforward. One possible pitfall if you dont follow the instructions carefully is you have to download the Synchron player separately from the library.

It sounds pretty good, huge in fact, its limited of course but its free!
