Groove Clip Tempo Change

I have a synthesizer audio clip that I want to create a groove clip. When I do, the dip changes beat, goiing more slowly.

Any idea why?

If the clip was created in the current project with a matching tempo, you just need to go to Clip Properties in the Track Inspector and correct the mis-guessed 'Beats in Clip' value.

Expand the Groove Clip section of Clip Properties.

Sorry for my ineptitude. Am I to right-click on a clip? I see nothing about Clip Properties. Would it be difficult to show in a photo?

Double-clicking the audio clip will open the Properties tab of the Inspector:
