On the NI / iZotope side yes, but some of those Brainworx ones are pretty decent. Brainworx isn't well-known for their synths, but bx_oberhausen is great and if it was released by GForce or someone else, people would probably rave about it. It's got a pretty thick and analogish sound. The Transient Designer Plus is very good and so is XLA 3. Even the the 4000G is reasonable too.
