Sterling Sloane
I am super new to all of this. I created a MIDI from a song I wrote in MuseScore. I pulled it into Cakewalk and it came over as two seperate MIDI tracks. One of the MIDI tracks works great but I can't hear the other one. Any advice?? (Track 2 is the one I am getting no audio from.)
SirWillyDS12
Pretty sure you need to dis-arm the track... Turn off the Big Red Record button... With the track armed and input echo on, the button beside the record arm button is also on, you would be monitoring the income live midi from your controller to the SI Piano and not the playback recorded midi... Sterling Sloane
I turned it off but that still didn't work.
Matthias Lieberecht
Two things are going through my mind. Have you set the correct inputs and outputs? On your screenshot they are different for track 2 and 3. The second thing you can check is whether there are any strange controller entries in the event list.
John Vere
I see nothing wrong with the tracks. They are both going o the master bus. You don’t need input echo to playback midi. Did you open the GUI for the strings and check that it’s volume control is turned up? Did you try playing the built in keyboard to see if it is making sound? If it is then something is wrong with your midi data. Is the velocity normal? Check the event list for data that might cause problems. If it isn’t making sound then something is wrong with the audio routing. Edited May 2 by John Vere
