UAD mono or stereo

Gonna ask a dumb question... If you have a mono track (ex: acoustic guitar or vocal ) are you using mono or stereo version of UAD plug?
When would you use a Stereo version on a mono track?

It's not a dumb question.  If you don't know ask, that's what the forum is all about; users helping users.

Some effects are designed to sound better in stereo than they do in mono.  Chorus is a good example as it can accept a mono input signal but the output is almost invariably stereo.

I'm sure others will chime in with their thoughts.

It might depend on if you're using the plug  in an effects bin on a mono track ( it stays mono ) or using it via an aux send to a stereo buss  where it wants to operate in stereo. That plug in's stereo out on the buss might feed other stereo busses via an Aux send as well.
