Yes, I know, it's totally awful, if a developer changes the authorization system! But for me it was worse, that some companies changed it away from iLok to online only machine activation! So no offline activation anymore! This should be forbidden, because it suddenly sets new requirements!

I’m afraid many of the newer coupons don’t allow for covering fee transfers. I’m waiting too…

Can anybody illuminate me why this one is so popular and liked when there are more responsive and better sounding ones (for me) like Pulsar, UAD, Softube and PSP?

Since it can often be had on sale, price vs performance ratio is probably a big factor.  It also has a damn good reputation.

Yeh, it's pretty good, if not $249 good. Is it better than the PSP FETpressor? Honestly, no. But for $30 it does the job.
