Need help!

Thanks for the response Paul. I actually placed a capo on the 2nd fret (G position)so I could sing in the way that I felt comfortable. That being said is that I need to re-record some of the vocals and be more relaxed. Sometimes when the "red light" goes on I tense up a bit. I may try to Melodyne but I'm not sure about that.

agreed, maybe ease up on the compression a little on the drums as well. Love the song.?

I found the vocal a little forward and seems slightly separated from the backing track. are you using a different reverb on the vocal?

The overall mix of the backing track is not bad. as noted above perhaps over compressed.
