Josh Wolfer Posted October 18, 2019 Author Posted October 18, 2019 Actually, I've had something similar happen and that's when I created the marker, it was during playback and I hit 'M' to tag that spot and then rename it later. But my keyboard double tapped or something and it created 2 markers on top of each other, so when I dragged one, the second remained under it.

That's true. You have to hover right over the little flag on the top of the marker to see the cursor change. I do a quick zoom with the mouse wheel when markers are too close together, but a slightly larger hit box would be nice. -- Scott R. KyRo Posted October 19, 2019 Posted October 19, 2019 I second those calling for marker enhancements, with a multicolored section system (a feature requested for Cakewalk a number of times over the years), perhaps as a new time ruler, akin to Pro Tools' et al: This is something I'd find incredibly useful in place of the rather indistinguishable (and easily passed over) old marker flag system. Nice bonus functionality would be the ability to click on individual marker bars to select all audio within that marker's range.

(We're actually so much in tune that both of us posted ProTools pictures in this discussion. ?)

I was actually coming onto the forum to start a new thread regarding marker enhancements when I saw this one, already started. 1

Let's hope the bakers consider a new marker track soon.
