What was updated.   I'm afraid to do any NI updates/

Over the past couple of days Ethereal Earth , Session Strings, Sequis, have been updated in addition to Analog Dreams.   Others may have been updated as well.

Ditto...
It sounds like NI has adopted a new installer technology for use with their Kontakt libraries and the Native Access app but just speculating as the only info I found on the web was the following:

Per Evil Dragon Community (native-instruments.com)
"It stands for Digital Content Package. All products will eventually move to this installer method."

Be aware that a lot of the recent NI updates are making old Kontakt 6 libraries only work with K7.

They only require the free Player version, but a lot of people have been having issues with K7, so keep this in mind if you’re the cautious type.

I'm sure that a lot of the issues have been sorted by now but why take the risk if you don’t see an upside.

They are often adding NKS2 support too, if that gets your interest.

Which they should have done earlier.
