Let's Make Sonar Perfect

I been dedicated to Sonar for over 13 years and I love the progress so here are  a few suggestion that I think would take us over the top. 

• Plugin Browser 

1. It would be perfect to Drag and Drop plug-ins in the within the browser

• MIDI Controller 

1. This may be far fetched but if we could create a customizable MIDI Map plugin to help Sonar communicate better with various MIDI Controllers

• Live Plugin Module

1. Create a live module to host VST plugins to be used in a Live Setting and be seamlessly auditioned and even recorded with no latency or artifacts

There are midi filters, but not mappers.

You can already drag and drop plugins from the browser to channels. Ctrl drag between channels to duplicate with settings.

This is called hardware.

Zero latency is impossible.

Cakewalk will work for live use, but it's mainly focussed on playlists rather than as a synth rack.

You might want to take a look at Cantable if you want something for a live rig: https://www.cantabilesoftware.com/

I'd have previously recommended Brainspawn Forte, but unfortunately they've closed shop

I don't really get this. Is it just that you want a sort of 'minihost' version of CbB that just hosts VSTis with recording capability, and nothing else? Or is there something here that CbB actually can't do with reasonable simplicity?

Or maybe @Benjamin Hudson meant drag & drop of plugins between categories? That would be "within the browser", as he expressed it...
