Amplitube 4 + Cakewalk = Crash

Hi all,

Has anybody been able to get Amplitube 4 to run in Cakewalk? Every time I try to run the Amplitube plugin, it either loads indefinitely (as long as an hour-plus), or Cakewalk crashes. Any tips?

I use multiple instances of it frequently. 

 

 

It might be helpful if you told us something about your computer specs, settings, etc.

I don't have any problems; works just like any other amp sim - no special setup needed. I know there are a number of people using it with CbB. Have you already authorized it? IKM has a separate authorization manager.

Try to reproduce the crash, test to see if if it happens with a blank project file. If it does, then make a dump file when the program freezes and include it, along with your project file/folder over to the Cakewalk staff to take a look at it.
