John Lundrigan
Hi All, I am using the Piano Roll to modify a set of midi tracks. I like the ability to move all the notes from the the tracks simultaneously, but I also need to stretch or contract the notes to fir a given set of bars. Is this possible? 0 David Baay
I don't recall right offhand if X3 allowed stretching MIDI clips by dragging - I suspect not. But Cakewalk by Bandlab does, is free, and has many enhancements fixes over X3. You should get it: https://www.bandlab.com/products/cakewalk Otherwise, the old-skool methods are: Process > Fit to Time (if you know where you want it to end) or Process > Length (if you know how much longer/shorter it needs to be as a percentage of its current length) Edited October 4, 2019 by David Baay 1
0 Promidi
Unless you are on a 32bit OS only, you really need to upgrade from X3 to Cakewalk by Bandlab, The later is light years ahead - especially in the area of MIDI editing. Also, if you are on a 32bit OS you really should consider upgrading to a 64bt OS.
