PreSonus, makers of Studio One have announced a new service they have partnered with Mix The Music, a new online store specialising in multitrack audio files that enable users to legally download and re-mix songs using the original multitrack files as recorded by major artists and film/game composers. This is brilliant for aspiring or experienced engineers to practice their mixing skills, or practice instrumental skills by re-recording parts.

Covering a wide range of styles including contemporary and classic hits, film scores, video game scores, and more, the content will continue to grow with more and more songs from top artists across all genres.

This makes sense from a business point of view. Bunch of people are sharing the stems anyway, you might as well provide a service and make a buck.

Unfortunately they will provided only for edu/self-edu purpose. No publishing allowed even for original remixes. So everything depends on price.

I doubt you may use it for videos. We are not allowed to publish works with these stems involved.

when it's not comercial i think for reviews it might be allowed ..gonna ask
