Simeon Amburgey Posted January 22, 2024 Posted January 22, 2024 So, this is big news in a way as Nord has typically used FATAR (Studiologic) keybeds. Having moved to Kawai, you have more of the legendary VPC-1 type of keybed and from the looks of it and even improved version of that, so this will be interesting indeed. 1

Their first Nord Grand also had a Kawai action IIRC. 1
Jim Roseberry Posted January 23, 2024 Posted January 23, 2024 Some newer tech trickling in from the Nord Stage 4 (aside from the key-bed)

Actually it only has Responsive Hammer plastic key action (not sure which version), VPC-1 has RM3II wooden key action. It's clearly visible in the teaser video, as the sides of the keys are white. https://kawaius.com/technology/wooden-key-actions/ 1
