Vincent Levalois
I've been using Cakewalk for many years and never bothered to ask this question on the forums but is there a way to auto punch in without punching out? it gets really annoying when working on sections as a progression and not needing to have a punch out time.
OutrageProductions
Not AFAIK. Just set a punch out for the end of the song.

You can't just leave the punch-out "undefined." Well, at least until someone corrects me! Edited January 19 by Terry Kelley
John Vere
Exactly what I do. I often screw up half way through so my trick is usually using Alt mouse scroll zoom out until I see the end of the song and quickly drag the timeline to highlight. Then turn on punch in. Zoom back in, fine tune the start of the punch and carry on. This takes less tha 15 seconds . That’s because I’m a mouse oriented person.

eezye
agree with this. i've asked for this option in previous threads... a few other DAWs have this function and it would be quite easy to add
