0 OutrageProductions Posted December 18, 2023 Posted December 18, 2023 The 'Wave Profiler' only reports status on MOBO internal drivers - WDM/WASAPI. Your ASIO drivers report their own sample/rate/latency from the drivers control panel. 2
0 John Vere Posted December 18, 2023 Posted December 18, 2023 Cakewalk/ Sonar in my experience always defaults to ASIO if you have the drivers installed and the interface connected and working before you install Cakewalk/Sonar. I have re done my old DAW machine with new hard drives and a fresh install of Windows 10. ( it was free) I haven’t done much with it yet I had installed the Next beta and that’s all. No 3rd party plugs etc. I gave up on Next and all of a sudden got this idea about Sonar Home Studio. So I installed it and that was one of the things I noticed was my Motu M4 was all set up and ready to go. The wave profile gizmo is really a hold over from the nasty old days of not having good drivers.
