Sheens Posted December 3, 2023 Posted December 3, 2023 (edited) Hi, thanks for taking time to read this....hope someone could help me. On my Windows 7, Cakewalk by Bandlab I cannot record (VST to Aux track) anymore in my project. Error message : Unable to save entire recording -- the audio disc may be full I try to find a AUD.INI file that I should delete (I guess)....but cannot find it. Maybe I need to do something else ? (have plenty free space on HD / RAM) Edited December 3, 2023 by Sheens
Glenn Stanton Posted December 3, 2023 Posted December 3, 2023 maybe it's a permission issue to the file or folder? the INI file is in the C:\ProgramData\Cakewalk\Cakewalk Core folder. rename it so you can recover it if necessary. what is the VST you're trying to record? of course running Windows 7 may be a bit long in the tooth nowadays as well... 1
Sheens Posted December 3, 2023 Author Posted December 3, 2023 (edited) Hi Glenn, thanks for your reply ! No INI file in my Cakewalk Core folder.. Got these error messages now and then...in the project I was recording on. Got worse with recording more and by now can't even record 1 bar from the VST. (tried other VST too). I can record normally when I start a new project....problems could be project specific. Edited December 3, 2023 by Sheens
Glenn Stanton Posted December 3, 2023 Posted December 3, 2023 sorry -- your roaming profile path: C:\Users\<YOURUSERNAME>\AppData\Roaming\Cakewalk\Cakewalk Core 1 1
Sheens Posted December 3, 2023 Author Posted December 3, 2023 Glenn, thank you so much !!! ☺️ Now found it with your help, deleted AUD.INI and can record again ! Awesome, THANK YOU 2
