How to move a clip to the beginning of the project

I think there's a way to do this without resorting to drag and drop or cut and paste. As far as I know ripple edit will affect everything to the right of the clip as well. Is there some way to just select a clip and have it jump to the beginning of the project? Thank you!

You might try opening the inspector <I><Clip Properties> and enter bar 1 beat 1 in the start field.
