It’s actually pretty harmless. And you actually don’t need to be involved  to get Next. I just installed it on a second machine and avoided the whole show. Basically told Discord to FO. Next is running just fine with out it. 
I reported a bug about 3 days ago on my other machine and nothing happened. No reply. It’s just like Facebook with people telling you to install asio4all to fix your audio problem.

I just had to look that one up    None Discloser Agreement . So it's still possible I might get the invite I guess.
