Monomox Posted January 14, 2019 Posted January 14, 2019 I uninstalled alter ego... Too creepy and not super useful (IMO)
Michael A.D. Posted January 15, 2019 Posted January 15, 2019 Alter-Ego is a great freebie - just don't expect it to sound like a real person. And NATA is a nice addition to Alter-Ego. These are 2 freebies that should be in the kit of anyone who is looking to add a unique touch to a tune. To put it simply, Alter-Ego lets you assign text to a melody to have it sung. Besides Nata, there are other free voices available. You can use it to playback a melody in a composition or you can jam live and it will play whatever text you have entered. It's easy and it's fun!
msmcleod Posted January 15, 2019 Posted January 15, 2019 I use Alter-Ego if I've got an idea for lyrics & a melody, and I'm not able to record my voice (either on the move on my laptop, or in the evening when I'd wake everyone up). It's a great way of getting ideas down. Nata's great as a female voice. Bones is better at male vocal ranges.
