sadicus
What is the method used to select (and delete) MIDI notes by length? "Delete Whole notes only" or Delete 16th notes only" I was trying "Deglitch" and looked at the Event Filter but not sure the best way. msmcleod
Edit->Select->By Filter is probably best. Set the duration min / max to the number of ticks of the note length. The number of ticks of one beat depends on your project's Ticks per Quarter Note setting: So in the above example, one quarter note is 960 ticks.
sadicus
...well paying attention not to checkbox "exc" helps. Duration min/max Whole Note = 4:000 Quarter note = 1:000 Eighth = 480 Sixteenth = 240 Edited September 17, 2019 by sadicus
chris.r
What Mark said. First make the selection where you want the notes to be deleted, next proceed with the instructions above, finally click delete. EDIT: nvm, I see you have edited your post Edited September 17, 2019 by chris.r
Scott Kendrick
related but different.. can you select notes that fall on a certain beat - e.g. only fall on the quarter notes... Another way to achieve what I'm looking for, can you select every other note in a string of 8th notes?
