Rosewood Posted October 25, 2023 Posted October 25, 2023 How do I disable this? For clarity, imagine I have 10 tracks full of audio. I click on an errored clip that's 0:10 to 0:20. I delete it. EVERYTHING 0:10 to 0:20 (on all ten tracks) gets deleted too. Thank you.
2 msmcleod Posted October 25, 2023 Posted October 25, 2023 There are two things I can think of that could cause this: 1. Select Sections with Time Ruler is checked 2. Ripple Edit All is on.
0 rsinger Posted October 25, 2023 Posted October 25, 2023 I'm sure there are a number of ways to do this. One way is to select the track, then select the time on the timeline, then do a track - delete and select the options you want.
0 Lynn Wilson Posted October 25, 2023 Posted October 25, 2023 Unselect all clips first by hitting ctrl-shift-A, then try lassoing that particular clip and hit delete on the keyboard, making sure it's the only clip selected. If you refer to the manual, you'll see that this isn't the only way, but effective.
0 Rosewood Posted October 25, 2023 Author Posted October 25, 2023 (edited) Tried both, no success. 1. I did a Lasso (right click and drag.) 2. I tried selecting just that one track before clicking the clip. Didn't help. Here's what I'm seeing: If I click a clip a light green 'selection' thing appears at the top of the screen. When I hit delete everything under the green bar gets deleted. Edited October 25, 2023 by Rosewood
