No sound from USB keyboard unless i disable it and re enable

I have a Behringer motor 49. Works fine in all plugins stand alone operation. When I open bandlab and select any plugin there is no sound, but i see midi is transmitted by midi i/o activity icon. If I deselect it from devices (Motor 49), save file, close bandlab.   Reopen band lab and select device (Motor 49) it now works. This is a pain. Anyone got an idea? Thank You

To clarify.  By “bandlab”, do you mean the web version or the Windows desktop DAW “Cakewalk by Bandlab”?

Windows desktop version i also just got  the newest release, no change, as i said i have a work around but its a hassle everytime i open a project to do this

Check that your power settings in windows does NOT allow usb sleeping.  Beyond that, try a different USB cable and different ports USB ports on your computer.

Thank you for your ideas guys.    It seems that once I enabled Mackie protocol  in control surfaces and assigned its port to the 2nd midi channel, problem has gone away.
