MashedBuddha Posted October 7, 2023 Posted October 7, 2023 Windows 10 x64 I don't know how or why this started happening, but out of nowhere Cakewalk will CTD upon opening the program (before I can even load a project). It then of course, like since decades now, remains in the Task Manager and nothing happens when I end task it. The only workaround I have is - start the program - crash - then I have to hit end task even though it stays in memory - restart the program, and now Cakewalk runs and I can use it. Since this issue, I have also updated and reactivated Cakewalk to the latest version to no avail. Any ideas or suggestions? Thanks.
gustabo Posted October 8, 2023 Posted October 8, 2023 With Cakewalk closed, rename aud.ini to aud.bak and let Cakewalk create a new one when you start it.
