I've got 8 plugins that show updates - and Norton blocks installation on all of them. I have sent a support request to Nembrini.

In my experience Norton itself is a virus and best to be avoided, but that's just me.

What if you just shut it down while you install, and then accidentally forget to fire it up again.

I disabled all of Nortons protections and real time scanners. It didn't help.

I have no problem installing other programs or plugins, seems to be just affecting Nembrini.

I appreciate your advice on ignoring Norton. It has kept me virus free for about 10 years now. YMMV.

Odd, I just update 25 or so, so I would imagine what you installed would have some overlap with what I installed, zero issues here.

Nembrini just got back to me. They suggest to uninstall and then reinstall their plugins to see if that makes a difference. I'll try tonight after work.
