I'm sure glad I stayed put. I was one of the "loyalists" I didn't freak out but I engaged in preventative loss of DAW by getting another DAW. Took the time to learn it fairly well, and started migrating my work over from SONAR. By the time Bandlab came through I was well into my new life. But I did jump in with the new CW regime (first love, etc.), and still use it for all my MIDI work.
John Vere
I think us "Loyalists" where the ones who tried demos etc and decided Sonar was what worked the best for us. Also that Sonar would be "Usable" for a few years at least so why jump ship at all. Just saying in the end I'm glad I didn't change DAW's.
