記念パピコ
It looks like something between Pianoq and SYNCHRON piano.
GoncaloL
I guess ill have to hear them first. But …1040€_excl vat! (introdutory price is less than that) for an instrument with 8 pianos… ouch! This pricing is, for sure, taking into account future drastic sales Edited September 28, 2023 by GoncaloL
Craig Fowler
Interesting move from IKM. As much as I love some of their other instruments (B3) and effects (Sunset Sounds Studio Reverb), they're pitching this at an odd level. Before I'd bite on any of these, they'd have to convince me they're absolutely light years ahead of the Sampletank pianos, because even the add-on ones aren't any better than OK.

SampleTank pianos are nowhere near the same league as good KONTAKT piano libraries. Even the NI piano libraries that come with KOMPLETE Standard are far superior to the ones for SampleTank. NI's Noir, included with KOMPLETE Standard, is my go to acoustic grand piano and I own a good deal of piano libraries from various KONTAKT developers, but Noire is just gorgeous to my ears. It was actually made for NI by Galaxy Instruments, FTR.
GoncaloL
They will be light years ahead of those that you refer, without a doubt. The question is how will they compare with some of those industry standard, as they are positioning themselves in that tier.

GoncaloL
I would prefer to hear those pianos by themselves and not within the context of a full instrumental track, as most of them are. But they sound good, particularly the Concert Grand YF3

Larry Shelby
It's about time! I can't remember how long it's been since I said "What we really need is another Piano Library"! 3 1
Promidi
Also, remember that each piano takes around 20 gig. So that’s 160 gig for the lot. Also, like I said on another post, I would want to make sure I can't make these sounds already with what I already have before I bite.

Jim Roseberry
It sounds good... but probably not the highest priority on my list. 1
記念パピコ
Of course, it's not a high priority for me either. After seeing UJIIE's demo performance, I found out that it could do something similar to heviocity, so I got a little interested. I'll consider it when I can buy it at a bargain sale price. GoncaloL
Yep, its hard to come up with a good piano library that brings something new to the table theses days. the most recent one that i remember is Piano Colors by Native Instruments, some cool ideas there
Yan Filiatrault
IK will probably add at least some of them in the next Total Studio Max version.
Vernon Barnes
I tend to gravitate to the EW Gold pianos these days for "straight" piano sounds. And I have plenty of alternatives in Kontakt, UVI, Arturia, and Musio including some interesting prepared and cinematic variations so this is going to have to offer something special. Peter - IK Multimedia
Thank you for the comments. Outside of being deeply sampled and using great pianos that were prepared (well not "prepared piano" but you know what I mean) and tuned by a true master of that specific art, there are some very cinematic/otherworldly/etc sounds with Pianoverse so I hope it hits the mark for some here. Here's a cool third party video I found this morning, too: 1
