Problem with recording Cakewalk

Good Evening. I've noticed that whenever I have two audio channels in the program, ie the electric guitar (solo) audio channel and the backing track audio channel - the sound is generally good when I'm recording. But when I open enough channels, i.e. no more than 7-8, then I have momentary interruptions in the recording of the guitar solo and even the backing track playing in the background. Does anyone knows what happens ?

What are your computer's specs? What audio interface do you have? What driver are you using?
