Hi all, it's been a while so ...

I think I previously posted this song as "Speakeasy" a while back. This version is shorter and has a lead guitar solo in place of the MIDI sax.

A lot to like here Keith! Super solid music and melody, and very enjoyable to listen to.

But the drums(which I understand if it is an older vst) seem really buried here, and the bass is too loud IMO ...especially early on. I feel just a few tweaks makes this song POP.

This reminded me of something the great Gilbert O'Sullivan would have written in his heyday.

Classic songwriting. Had me tapping a toe and humming along to the really catchy melody.

Bass down a dB or so, vox up a dB or so, drum elements up 1 to 2db, a little less reverb overall, piano sounds ok, lead guitar sounds nice, really nice song????

Good song, has a nice early 70's feel.   The songwriting is superb, strong melody, good structure, performance, and the breakdown after the guitar solo is a nice touch.   Enjoyable listen  for sure.

You've got that mix sounding great now, I really enjoyed listening to this one . . . vocals reminded me of Leo Sayer, maybe just the style of the song, or that classic guitar solo . . .  a bit of a time transport, I haven't heard something like this for quite a while . . . well done Keith !

Terrific, Keith!  I really like the way you didn't overprocess your vocal, leaving it dry against the lovely and spacey guitar.  Nice touch!  Beautiful retro vibe makes this very nostalgic.  A+
