those are updates failed for me which is the norm for NI, you gotta run a reg remover

Cool, probably new features for a product that won't be shipped until end of October, which I probably won't buy until the end of it's lifecycle when prices go down.

My updates worked well without problems.

Thanks, just running the Updates - yet another update for Kontakt 7 - this will be interesting to see if it will run standalone after update - so far, I simply have not been able to get this to run Standalone - anyone else have this issue?

Downloaded, installed, still will not open - I can use it inside Cakewalk, loads OK, but will not run standalone, so still using Kontakt 6.

Kontakt 7 full runs great inside Cakewalk as an instrument and as a standalone by itself. 

You should try  uninstalling it from the computer and then re-install again from NI

I think its for the new kontrol keyboard features , not needed ....imho ...

Updated this weekend and Analog Dreams, Etheral Earth and Hybrid keys will now only open in K7.6 and not K6. NI did not specify it would do this as far as I know.  be aware anything using the above Play Series that was conceived in K6 can no longer be opened in K6. And must have K7.6

Just saw a similar update for Noire and two Session Electric libraries.  It looks like everything is going to require 7.6 before too long.

All of pending* updates on my system already required Kontact 7.6 - so that not new for me.
The only new change is Support for NKS2 navigation.
