Frank M Tierno Posted September 2, 2023 Posted September 2, 2023 I can't seem to save any changes. Do I need to buy a license? I downloaded this free version and I think it will work for me as I just need a simple editor for live mixes. LMK Thanks! -Frank-
0 reginaldStjohn Posted September 2, 2023 Posted September 2, 2023 (edited) You going to have to give a bit more information. What does it do when you try to save? Do you get an error message of some sort? How are you trying to save? (File->Save, File->Save As etc.) The documentation provides some good getting started tutorial and there are many getting started videos that could help you. https://legacy.cakewalk.com/Documentation?product=Cakewalk&language=3&help=Beginners.01.html Edited September 2, 2023 by reginaldStjohn
0 Byron Dickens Posted September 2, 2023 Posted September 2, 2023 You need to activate it. Also, Cakewalk is far from a simple editor. It is a full-featured, professional level DAW.

0 Promidi Posted September 3, 2023 Posted September 3, 2023 Are you actually referring to the Windows desktop program “Cakewalk by Bandlab”?

It runs fine. I open and play Midi files but when I make a simple change like mute a track and then save the file, the changes to register in the new file.
