I can't seem to save any changes. Do I need to buy a license? I downloaded this free version and I think it will work for me as I just need a simple

editor for live mixes.

LMK Thanks!

You going to have to give a bit more information. What does it do when you try to save? Do you get an error message of some sort? How are you trying to save? (File->Save, File->Save As etc.)

The documentation provides some good getting started tutorial and there are many getting started videos that could help you.

I downloaded Cakewalk by Bandlab. It runs fine. I open and play Midi files but when I make a simple change like mute a track and then save the file,

the changes to register in the new file.

You might think about getting Audacity instead. Much easier to learn.

Can Audacity play and edit Standard Midi Files? (I'm a dinosaur BTW. I still have reel to reels in my studio)

Thanks
