Converting dotted quaver bpm to bandlab bpm

Question

Posted

Hi all, this is very new to me, so am wondering if anyone can help.

I want to write some music into bandlab, specifically this one 1875

It is in 12/16, which isn’t in bandlab, but have got around that barrier through converting it into 4/8, however I am struggling to convert the time signature. For reference, on the music, it says that one dotted quaver is 185 (probably bpm) and I want it to be the bandlab bpm (I think it is crotchet time). Can anyone help please? Let me know if there is any more information required. Thanks

FYI - this is the forum for Cakewalk by BandLab,  not BandLab's mix editor.

I'm not fully up to speed with BandLab's mix editor, but it seems to me you should be setting the time signature to 6/8 rather than 4/8.
