OMG! If you haven’t seen the parody “latest/greatest” plugin video in the Production Expert article, it is  absolutely hilarious! A great way to start the weekend with a laugh! Full disclosure: I’ve been sucked in by my impulsive gotta-have-it plugins that end up in my “how did I forget I had this” bin. ?

We are living in the age of bullshit. Everyone is full of it these days. What I have found lately is that I am using the plugins that come built in and bundled in my DAW more often than usual. Works just fine now that you kind-a know what you are doing with some of them.

I think with young users something like mixing has become a rocket science.  Look at the endless tutorials about mixing.

The most hilarious thing is that ProTools was the DAW that started the BS plugin trend.

You don't get much better than Smartelectronix's Anechoic Room Simulator.
