Option to edit gain clip in default control mode

It would be so nice to be able to edit individual gain clips straight in the default mouse control mode, instead of having to press T, change to automatization --> volume. Just adding a node at the top of the clip, then you move up or down.

I don't know about that. I picturing nodes all over my projects. ?

There's no need to bring up the tools menu (T). Your default tool (The Smart tool) will do this all.

1- Open the clip gain in a lane/on the clip.

2- Click and drag on the clip to make your selection.

3- Hover over the clip until you see the double sided arrow

4- Click and drag Up/down.
